Na een lange vlucht, met een tussenstop in Istanbul, Turkije, Zijn we aangekomen in Singapore !
We hadden deze trip een voor Business Class gekozen, en ik moet je vertellen, bij Turkish Airlines.
Turkish Airlines was niet mijn eerste keuze, maar de prijsverhoudingen waren te groot om er niet voor te kiezen. En ik moet eerlijk toegeven…. Volgende keer WEER !!!
Alles in de puntjes verzorgd, eten, Candle Light Diner op 10km hoogte. Languit slapen, een compleet bed wordt voor je opgemaakt.
Alleen een probleem…
S ’Middags om 17.00 uur zijn we geland, door de douane en met de Taxi naar het hotel. S’avonds wat gegeten in een lokaal restaurantje, tuurlijk weer iets pittigs en veel Garnalen!
Ondertussen is het hier op de klok 23.30, tijd om naar bed te gaan….
Dachten we…. Rond 02.30/03.00 uur KLAAR WAKKER !!!
04.00 uur… 05.00 uur… 06.00 uur… Eindelijk slapen we an weer in… om toch weer wakker te worden tegen 09.00 uur.
Douchen en ontbijten op de hoek… niet het Hotel, daar is het te klein voor!
Gewoon bij de buren, is nog goedkoper ook, zeiden ze bij de receptie.
Vandaag de hort op, 3-daagse pas voor de Metro en Bus gekocht €14,- p.p kost geen drol hierzo…
Op naar… Marina Sand hotel en Park…
Je kijkt je ogen uit… maar dat mag dan ook wel, we hadden het bijna geboekt voor een dag, maar de prijs werd te hoog opgedreven…
De prijs was € 199,- per dag… Maar de geboekte dag was niet beschikbaar, dan kom je in een andere prijsklasse, € 349,- per nacht, Ex 10% service toeslag, Ex BTW… Totaal zou het iets worden van € 450,-
Dacht altijd belastingvrij in Singapore, verkeerd gedacht dus ! tja, opgelicht worden kan altijd nog… maar niet in Singapore !
Maar goed, Toch het hotel in, en onze ogen goed de koste geven… iedereen loopt daar met een air over zich heen, zo van, kijk hier heb ik geboekt… nou, veel plezier ermee maar die €450,- heb ik in MIJN pocket.
Het Park is PRACHTIG, echt, dit moet je gezien hebben, er zijn 2 zeer grote “Broeikassen, Lekker koel overigens… de ene met bloemen & planten uit de woestijn, Europa en Afrika.
En in de andere een subtropische, koele omgeving, met een loopbrug en een gigantische waterval. Entree voor deze 2 kassen +/- € 20,- p.p.
Daarna zijn we gaan kijken in Little India, een Wijk in Singapore. Veel kleding, horloge’s speelgoed en alle aanverwante artikelen.
En weer eens een hapje gegeten bij de straatventer, die je op elke hoek van de straat wel tegen komt. Buikjes rond gegeten voor s$7,- is ongeveer € 4,50 p.p. met een Cola 500ml !
Ook zijn we gaan kijken bij een van de vele Shopping Malls, te groot voor woorden, en valt niet te omschrijven… ZO GROOT !
Meteen de Cable Cars opgezocht, want morgen staat SENTOSA op ons lijstje…
En nu…. Nu terug naar het Hotel. Onze voeten BRANDEN…
Zo dan… Onze eerste dag van de vakantie zit er op… Nog vele te gaan tot 24 Maart…

Na een lange vlucht, met een tussenstop in Istanbul, Turkije, Zijn we aangekomen in Singapore !
We hadden deze trip een voor Business Class gekozen, en ik moet je vertellen, bij Turkish Airlines.
Turkish Airlines was niet mijn eerste keuze, maar de prijsverhoudingen waren te groot om er niet voor te kiezen. En ik moet eerlijk toegeven…. Volgende keer WEER !!!
Alles in de puntjes verzorgd, eten, Candle Light Diner op 10km hoogte. Languit slapen, een compleet bed wordt voor je opgemaakt.
Alleen een probleem…
S ’Middags om 17.00 uur zijn we geland, door de douane en met de Taxi naar het hotel. S’avonds wat gegeten in een lokaal restaurantje, tuurlijk weer iets pittigs en veel Garnalen!
Ondertussen is het hier op de klok 23.30, tijd om naar bed te gaan….
Dachten we…. Rond 02.30/03.00 uur KLAAR WAKKER !!!
04.00 uur… 05.00 uur… 06.00 uur… Eindelijk slapen we an weer in… om toch weer wakker te worden tegen 09.00 uur.
Douchen en ontbijten op de hoek… niet het Hotel, daar is het te klein voor!
Gewoon bij de buren, is nog goedkoper ook, zeiden ze bij de receptie.
Vandaag de hort op, 3-daagse pas voor de Metro en Bus gekocht €14,- p.p kost geen drol hierzo…
Op naar… Marina Sand hotel en Park…
Je kijkt je ogen uit… maar dat mag dan ook wel, we hadden het bijna geboekt voor een dag, maar de prijs werd te hoog opgedreven…
De prijs was € 199,- per dag… Maar de geboekte dag was niet beschikbaar, dan kom je in een andere prijsklasse, € 349,- per nacht, Ex 10% service toeslag, Ex BTW… Totaal zou het iets worden van € 450,-
Dacht altijd belastingvrij in Singapore, verkeerd gedacht dus ! tja, opgelicht worden kan altijd nog… maar niet in Singapore !
Maar goed, Toch het hotel in, en onze ogen goed de koste geven… iedereen loopt daar met een air over zich heen, zo van, kijk hier heb ik geboekt… nou, veel plezier ermee maar die €450,- heb ik in MIJN pocket.
Het Park is PRACHTIG, echt, dit moet je gezien hebben, er zijn 2 zeer grote “Broeikassen, Lekker koel overigens… de ene met bloemen & planten uit de woestijn, Europa en Afrika.
En in de andere een subtropische, koele omgeving, met een loopbrug en een gigantische waterval. Entree voor deze 2 kassen +/- € 20,- p.p.
Daarna zijn we gaan kijken in Little India, een Wijk in Singapore. Veel kleding, horloge’s speelgoed en alle aanverwante artikelen.
En weer eens een hapje gegeten bij de straatventer, die je op elke hoek van de straat wel tegen komt. Buikjes rond gegeten voor s$7,- is ongeveer € 4,50 p.p. met een Cola 500ml !
Ook zijn we gaan kijken bij een van de vele Shopping Malls, te groot voor woorden, en valt niet te omschrijven… ZO GROOT !
Meteen de Cable Cars opgezocht, want morgen staat SENTOSA op ons lijstje…
En nu…. Nu terug naar het Hotel. Onze voeten BRANDEN…
Zo dan… Onze eerste dag van de vakantie zit er op… Nog vele te gaan tot 24 Maart…

Na een lange vlucht, met een tussenstop in Istanbul, Turkije, Zijn we aangekomen in Singapore !
We hadden deze trip een voor Business Class gekozen, en ik moet je vertellen, bij Turkish Airlines.
Turkish Airlines was niet mijn eerste keuze, maar de prijsverhoudingen waren te groot om er niet voor te kiezen. En ik moet eerlijk toegeven…. Volgende keer WEER !!!
Alles in de puntjes verzorgd, eten, Candle Light Diner op 10km hoogte. Languit slapen, een compleet bed wordt voor je opgemaakt.
Alleen een probleem…
S ’Middags om 17.00 uur zijn we geland, door de douane en met de Taxi naar het hotel. S’avonds wat gegeten in een lokaal restaurantje, tuurlijk weer iets pittigs en veel Garnalen!
Ondertussen is het hier op de klok 23.30, tijd om naar bed te gaan….
Dachten we…. Rond 02.30/03.00 uur KLAAR WAKKER !!!
04.00 uur… 05.00 uur… 06.00 uur… Eindelijk slapen we an weer in… om toch weer wakker te worden tegen 09.00 uur.
Douchen en ontbijten op de hoek… niet het Hotel, daar is het te klein voor!
Gewoon bij de buren, is nog goedkoper ook, zeiden ze bij de receptie.
Vandaag de hort op, 3-daagse pas voor de Metro en Bus gekocht €14,- p.p kost geen drol hierzo…
Op naar… Marina Sand hotel en Park…
Je kijkt je ogen uit… maar dat mag dan ook wel, we hadden het bijna geboekt voor een dag, maar de prijs werd te hoog opgedreven…
De prijs was € 199,- per dag… Maar de geboekte dag was niet beschikbaar, dan kom je in een andere prijsklasse, € 349,- per nacht, Ex 10% service toeslag, Ex BTW… Totaal zou het iets worden van € 450,-
Dacht altijd belastingvrij in Singapore, verkeerd gedacht dus ! tja, opgelicht worden kan altijd nog… maar niet in Singapore !
Maar goed, Toch het hotel in, en onze ogen goed de koste geven… iedereen loopt daar met een air over zich heen, zo van, kijk hier heb ik geboekt… nou, veel plezier ermee maar die €450,- heb ik in MIJN pocket.
Het Park is PRACHTIG, echt, dit moet je gezien hebben, er zijn 2 zeer grote “Broeikassen, Lekker koel overigens… de ene met bloemen & planten uit de woestijn, Europa en Afrika.
En in de andere een subtropische, koele omgeving, met een loopbrug en een gigantische waterval. Entree voor deze 2 kassen +/- € 20,- p.p.
Daarna zijn we gaan kijken in Little India, een Wijk in Singapore. Veel kleding, horloge’s speelgoed en alle aanverwante artikelen.
En weer eens een hapje gegeten bij de straatventer, die je op elke hoek van de straat wel tegen komt. Buikjes rond gegeten voor s$7,- is ongeveer € 4,50 p.p. met een Cola 500ml !
Ook zijn we gaan kijken bij een van de vele Shopping Malls, te groot voor woorden, en valt niet te omschrijven… ZO GROOT !
Meteen de Cable Cars opgezocht, want morgen staat SENTOSA op ons lijstje…
En nu…. Nu terug naar het Hotel. Onze voeten BRANDEN…
Zo dan… Onze eerste dag van de vakantie zit er op… Nog vele te gaan tot 24 Maart…

Na een lange vlucht, met een tussenstop in Istanbul, Turkije, Zijn we aangekomen in Singapore !
We hadden deze trip een voor Business Class gekozen, en ik moet je vertellen, bij Turkish Airlines.
Turkish Airlines was niet mijn eerste keuze, maar de prijsverhoudingen waren te groot om er niet voor te kiezen. En ik moet eerlijk toegeven…. Volgende keer WEER !!!
Alles in de puntjes verzorgd, eten, Candle Light Diner op 10km hoogte. Languit slapen, een compleet bed wordt voor je opgemaakt.
Alleen een probleem…
S ’Middags om 17.00 uur zijn we geland, door de douane en met de Taxi naar het hotel. S’avonds wat gegeten in een lokaal restaurantje, tuurlijk weer iets pittigs en veel Garnalen!
Ondertussen is het hier op de klok 23.30, tijd om naar bed te gaan….
Dachten we…. Rond 02.30/03.00 uur KLAAR WAKKER !!!
04.00 uur… 05.00 uur… 06.00 uur… Eindelijk slapen we an weer in… om toch weer wakker te worden tegen 09.00 uur.
Douchen en ontbijten op de hoek… niet het Hotel, daar is het te klein voor!
Gewoon bij de buren, is nog goedkoper ook, zeiden ze bij de receptie.
Vandaag de hort op, 3-daagse pas voor de Metro en Bus gekocht €14,- p.p kost geen drol hierzo…
Op naar… Marina Sand hotel en Park…
Je kijkt je ogen uit… maar dat mag dan ook wel, we hadden het bijna geboekt voor een dag, maar de prijs werd te hoog opgedreven…
De prijs was € 199,- per dag… Maar de geboekte dag was niet beschikbaar, dan kom je in een andere prijsklasse, € 349,- per nacht, Ex 10% service toeslag, Ex BTW… Totaal zou het iets worden van € 450,-
Dacht altijd belastingvrij in Singapore, verkeerd gedacht dus ! tja, opgelicht worden kan altijd nog… maar niet in Singapore !
Maar goed, Toch het hotel in, en onze ogen goed de koste geven… iedereen loopt daar met een air over zich heen, zo van, kijk hier heb ik geboekt… nou, veel plezier ermee maar die €450,- heb ik in MIJN pocket.
Het Park is PRACHTIG, echt, dit moet je gezien hebben, er zijn 2 zeer grote “Broeikassen, Lekker koel overigens… de ene met bloemen & planten uit de woestijn, Europa en Afrika.
En in de andere een subtropische, koele omgeving, met een loopbrug en een gigantische waterval. Entree voor deze 2 kassen +/- € 20,- p.p.
Daarna zijn we gaan kijken in Little India, een Wijk in Singapore. Veel kleding, horloge’s speelgoed en alle aanverwante artikelen.
En weer eens een hapje gegeten bij de straatventer, die je op elke hoek van de straat wel tegen komt. Buikjes rond gegeten voor s$7,- is ongeveer € 4,50 p.p. met een Cola 500ml !
Ook zijn we gaan kijken bij een van de vele Shopping Malls, te groot voor woorden, en valt niet te omschrijven… ZO GROOT !
Meteen de Cable Cars opgezocht, want morgen staat SENTOSA op ons lijstje…
En nu…. Nu terug naar het Hotel. Onze voeten BRANDEN…
Zo dan… Onze eerste dag van de vakantie zit er op… Nog vele te gaan tot 24 Maart…

Na een lange vlucht, met een tussenstop in Istanbul, Turkije, Zijn we aangekomen in Singapore !
We hadden deze trip een voor Business Class gekozen, en ik moet je vertellen, bij Turkish Airlines.
Turkish Airlines was niet mijn eerste keuze, maar de prijsverhoudingen waren te groot om er niet voor te kiezen. En ik moet eerlijk toegeven…. Volgende keer WEER !!!
Alles in de puntjes verzorgd, eten, Candle Light Diner op 10km hoogte. Languit slapen, een compleet bed wordt voor je opgemaakt.
Alleen een probleem…
S ’Middags om 17.00 uur zijn we geland, door de douane en met de Taxi naar het hotel. S’avonds wat gegeten in een lokaal restaurantje, tuurlijk weer iets pittigs en veel Garnalen!
Ondertussen is het hier op de klok 23.30, tijd om naar bed te gaan….
Dachten we…. Rond 02.30/03.00 uur KLAAR WAKKER !!!
04.00 uur… 05.00 uur… 06.00 uur… Eindelijk slapen we an weer in… om toch weer wakker te worden tegen 09.00 uur.
Douchen en ontbijten op de hoek… niet het Hotel, daar is het te klein voor!
Gewoon bij de buren, is nog goedkoper ook, zeiden ze bij de receptie.
Vandaag de hort op, 3-daagse pas voor de Metro en Bus gekocht €14,- p.p kost geen drol hierzo…
Op naar… Marina Sand hotel en Park…
Je kijkt je ogen uit… maar dat mag dan ook wel, we hadden het bijna geboekt voor een dag, maar de prijs werd te hoog opgedreven…
De prijs was € 199,- per dag… Maar de geboekte dag was niet beschikbaar, dan kom je in een andere prijsklasse, € 349,- per nacht, Ex 10% service toeslag, Ex BTW… Totaal zou het iets worden van € 450,-
Dacht altijd belastingvrij in Singapore, verkeerd gedacht dus ! tja, opgelicht worden kan altijd nog… maar niet in Singapore !
Maar goed, Toch het hotel in, en onze ogen goed de koste geven… iedereen loopt daar met een air over zich heen, zo van, kijk hier heb ik geboekt… nou, veel plezier ermee maar die €450,- heb ik in MIJN pocket.
Het Park is PRACHTIG, echt, dit moet je gezien hebben, er zijn 2 zeer grote “Broeikassen, Lekker koel overigens… de ene met bloemen & planten uit de woestijn, Europa en Afrika.
En in de andere een subtropische, koele omgeving, met een loopbrug en een gigantische waterval. Entree voor deze 2 kassen +/- € 20,- p.p.
Daarna zijn we gaan kijken in Little India, een Wijk in Singapore. Veel kleding, horloge’s speelgoed en alle aanverwante artikelen.
En weer eens een hapje gegeten bij de straatventer, die je op elke hoek van de straat wel tegen komt. Buikjes rond gegeten voor s$7,- is ongeveer € 4,50 p.p. met een Cola 500ml !
Ook zijn we gaan kijken bij een van de vele Shopping Malls, te groot voor woorden, en valt niet te omschrijven… ZO GROOT !
Meteen de Cable Cars opgezocht, want morgen staat SENTOSA op ons lijstje…
En nu…. Nu terug naar het Hotel. Onze voeten BRANDEN…
Zo dan… Onze eerste dag van de vakantie zit er op… Nog vele te gaan tot 24 Maart…
